The future of America?

After many months, I visited Tysons Corner Mall. Two things caught my eye:
  • The presence of Chinese. A store called Zen sells Chinese kitsch, nothing Zen about it. I was "shadowed" by a Chinese saleslady everywhere I went. Other Chinese were staffing a booth and handing out brochures for a Chinese dance troupe performance at Kennedy Center: one wonders how they paid for floor space at Tysons Corner Mall. It's not difficult to have hard feelings about Chinese, when China holds most of the U.S. national debt. Barack Obama rightly raised the issue of borrowing from the Chinese to pay the Saudis during his campaign, but turned around to genuflect (not merely bow) to the Saudi King once he became President (I could say a lot more about BO, but it's not germane to the post).
  • The presence of Muslims in traditional dress. CAIR's annual "civil rights" report notwithstanding, these people went about their business without fear of reprisal. The U.S. born Yemeni cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who has ties to both the Ft Hood murderer Malik Nidal Hasan and BVD bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, preached in Northern Virginia. As I looked at the Muslims shopping at Tysons Corner Mall, I couldn't help but wonder how many of these people provided cover for Anwar al-Awlaki.

Having been born in Takoma Park and grown up in Montgomery County, I witnessed first-hand the invasion. I relocated to western Maryland in 2006 and it truly felt like "going home". People actually speak English here. It is quite depressing to see the changes in my neighborhood back home when I visit my father there. I would not be exaggerating to say that 80% to 90% of the population is now made up of immigrants. How many legal? Take a guess...

Um, I'm half Chinese (my mother is from Malaysia... A MUSLIM COUNTRY!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!). I was born in DC and have lived in Northern Virginia for most of my life (Arlington and Falls Church). So fuck you very much. I have the right to exist, as does my mother, who has lived in America for 20 years and is a citizen. Your racism/xenophobia is disgusting and certainly anti American. Let me reiterate: FUCK YOU.

By the way, all the so-called Chinese people you see at Tysons are probably Korean or Vietnamese, as those populations are much larger in the area. And no, they are not the same.

how dare they walk around in traditional dress without "fear of reprisal". Do you mean to imply that they SHOULD fear reprisal because of that? Oh no, Tyson's Corner isn't as pretty, rich, and white as it used to be, God help us all.
